Career prospects

Theatre Studies (Arts and Culture)

The job market

The Master's in Theatre Studies prepares students for a wide range of careers in theatre and performance: from scholarly research, arts administration or theatre in education to archival work and cultural programming.

Graduates of the Master's in Theatre Studies are qualified to pursue a career in diverse areas, including theatre or theatre criticism, government institutions, cultural organisations and international festival organisations. Research has shown that most graduates find a job within their field of study in less than a year and many students even become closely associated with the theatre world during their studies, acquiring the experience and connections that help them find a job in the future.
