When you start your PhD project you will come across a lot of different faculty offices, procedures and regulations. This meeting will help you to find your way and offers an introduction to project planning, and to presenting your research to different audiences and listeners effectively.
This introduction meeting consists of:
Introduction of the Graduate School training programme;
Information about doctorate regulations, PhD regulations, scientific code of conduct and about research data management;
Introduction to managing a PhD project; (with experiences of supervisors and a recently finished PhD candidate);
Introduction to effectively presenting your research.
The meeting is followed by drinks.
