Applying for a Master's programme
If you wish to apply for one of our Master’s programmes, please be sure to carefully follow the application steps below. If you only want to study one or two courses, please follow the procedure for guest students (bijvakstudenten). For this option you should be registered as a Master's student at another Dutch university. Students wishing to switch to a Research Master's per February 2019 need to follow the transfer procedure (overstapprocedure) before 9 January 2019.

The application deadline depends on where you have attained your Bachelor's degree and the type of programme to which you are applying.
Before registering in Studielink
Please make sure that you apply for the correct study programme name in Studielink at least 48 hours before the application deadline. You can find an overview of the study programmes and their corresponding name in Studielink in the guide below.
Activate your UvAnetID
After submitting your enrolment application in Studielink, you will receive an email (up to 48 hours after your enrolment application) with your UvAnetID. Follow the instructions in the email to activate your ID as you will need it to complete your UvA application (see Step 3 below).
