The phases below will be reflected on your dossier in MyInfo as well.
In this phase, your application is being assessed on completeness. If your application is incomplete (e.g. you have not submitted a language test that meets our requirements), you will be informed of this within 10-15 business days. Incomplete applications are not taken into consideration. Please note that if you submit your application on the date of the deadline, it will take longer before your application is assessed on completeness. If your application is complete, it will move on to the next phase.
In this phase, the level of your undergraduate degree (Bachelor's degree) will be compared to the Dutch higher education system. The diplomas and/or transcripts that you have uploaded will be evaluated according to the Nuffic rules and regulations.
One of the firm entry requirements of our Master's programmes is that your educational background is comparable to at least a Dutch academic Bachelor’s degree from a research university ("WO" Bachelor’s degree in Dutch). Educational backgrounds that are not comparable to a Dutch WO Bachelor’s degree, such as a Bachelor’s degree from a University of Applied Sciences (Dutch HBO), are insufficient for direct entry into our Master’s programmes.
Additionally, the issuing higher education institution as well as the degree programme itself have to be officially accredited.
Once the credential evaluation process is complete, your application dossier will be forwarded to the Admissions Board for the final decision on your application.
Your application is under review by the Admissions Board. They will assess your application dossier in its entirety. Once they have made a final decision, you will be informed of the outcome of your application.
