Accept
By accepting the offer in SIS, you indicate that you intend to follow the programme. Accepting the offer does not complete your enrolment, nor does it oblige you to start the programme. However, we do need your acceptance in order to take the next steps for your enrolment. Therefore, please respond to your offer within two weeks.
Decline
If you decide to decline our programme offer, make sure you also withdraw your enrolment request in Studielink to avoid receiving emails about completing your enrolment.

(Conditionally) accepted to a pre-Master's programme
Accept your offer by registering for the pre-Master’s programme in Studielink
You will need to submit a new enrolment request in Studielink, only this time for the pre-Master’s programme. By submitting an enrolment request in Studielink for the pre-Master’s programme, you also accept your place in the pre-Master’s programme. Accepting your offer is non-binding – you can still withdraw at a later stage. However, without your Studielink enrolment for the pre-Master’s programme, the further administrative and enrolment steps are not started, which are critical to become definitively enrolled. Therefore, please make sure to accept your offer for the pre-Master’s programme by registering for the pre-Master’s programme in Studielink.
The pre-Master’s enrolment in Studielink is very important as it also ensures that you can be placed in the courses of the pre-Master’s programme. Please submit your enrolment request for the pre-Master’s programme in Studielink within two after receiving your conditional acceptance letter. If you do not undertake this step, you will not be able to start your visa application and if applicable housing application. We will also not be able to register you for the pre-Master’s courses.

Defer
The Graduate School of Humanities does not offer deferrals in the traditional sense of the word. If you would like to defer, you must re-apply in Studielink and SIS next year according to the deadlines, admission and entry requirements applicable to your situation.
