Submit enrolment request in Studielink

All students applying for a (pre-)Master's programme will need to start their application by submitting an enrolment request in Studielink, the Dutch online system for students applying for a degree programme at a Dutch university.

Important: registering in Studielink does not finalise your application. After registering in Studielink, you need to submit the UvA application form in MyInfo before the deadline that applies to the programme of your choice. Since it may take up to 48 hours to process your registration in Studielink, it is extremely important that you register in Studielink at least 48 hours before the application deadline.

Check your DigiD (before starting in Studielink)

Students who currently live in the Netherlands will need their DigiD to use Studielink. Students who do not live in the Netherlands can use Studielink without a DigiD.

Read the Step-by-step guide to Studielink

Before submitting your enrolment application in Studielink, read the 'Step-by-step guide to Studielink':

Register in Studielink

It is extremely important that you register for the correct title of your Master's programme in Studielink. You can find the correct title you should register for in Studielink on the webpage of the Master's programme of your choice.

Applying for more than one programme

It is possible to submit an enrolment request for more than one Master's programme.

  • If you wish to apply for a second track within the same Studielink programme, you will be able to select your first choice in Studielink and, if desired, a second choice in the UvA application form (see the following step: submit application form). Please bear in mind that initially, only your first choice will be processed. In case you apply for a selective programme, this must be selected in Studielink as the track you intend to follow, otherwise it will not be processed at all (due to the selection procedure). We therefore advise you to think carefully about your first and second track choice. Please check the programme page > application & admission > step 2 to see if the track you prefer has a selection procedure.
  • If you wish to apply for a second programme with a different Studielink name, please add another Enrolment application/Verzoek tot inschrijving, using the same Studielink account.
